Joshua Dean (co-founder) is jubilant to be starting up a company with these amazing performers. He has danced around the world as a ballet, modern, and musical theater dancer. He has worked with Twyla Tharp and been in Cats, West Side Story, The Music Man, and many others.
In the past five years he has stretched out to work as an aerialist on about anything you can hang in the air. He has worked as an aerialist for Norwegian Cruise Line, Hawaii’s Tilt Dance Company, Broadway Bares, Above the Belt at the Zipper Theater, the Baby Janes at La Mama, and More. “Suspended Cirque is a new aerial theatre company. We are bringing another side of circus to NYC with our theatrics and interesting apparatus. We will play instruments, dance, swing from a chandelier, clown about, and deliver a scene or a song. We combined it all to make it unique, new and exciting, and hopefully something that everyone can enjoy,” Joshua.
